Ms. Harris has spent the last 12 years in the biopharmaceutical industry developing and implementing commercialization strategies in a variety of therapeutic areas including rare genetic disorders, infections diseases and oncology. Her experience includes product launches, product and clinical development planning, international subsidiary P&L, new product planning, line management, and management of day-to-day commercial operations. The majority of her tenure was with The Liposome Company (acquired by élan Corporation) where she held a variety of positions including Executive Director of Marketing, Education and Professional Services and as Senior Director Hospital Marketing with élan. Ms. Harris joined Sopherion in September 2004 from Genzyme Corporation where she held a Senior Director of Global Marketing position in the Lysosomal Storage Disorders business unit.
