Elizabeth M. Ebanks is an associate with LeClairRyan’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, where her practice focuses on employment litigation. Ms. Ebanks received her B.A. from the University of Virginia in 2000. As a dual degree graduate student at the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law, Ms. Ebanks received both her J.D. and Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2006.While at T.C. Williams School of Law, Ms. Ebanks placed first in the Intrascholastic Trial Advocacy Competition and again placed first at the Regional ABA Labor & Employment Law Trial Advocacy Competition. Ms. Ebanks was also a 2005 winner of the Intrascholastic Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association Competition. Upon graduation, Ms. Ebanks was the honored recipient of the VTLA Student Trial Advocacy Award and was selected as a national member of the Order of Barristers.Prior to joining LeClairRyan, Ms. Ebanks clerked for the Honorable Randall G. Johnson in the Circuit Court for the City of Richmond as part of the law school’s clinical placement program and was a member of the Lewis F. Powell, Jr. American Inn of Court. She is an active member of the Virginia State Bar. She is currently an active member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Bar Association, Richmond Bar Association, and the Metro Richmond Women’s Bar Association. |
