Ms. Coolidge is a lifelong resident of the City of Chicago. She currently resides with her husband and three children in the Edgebrook neighborhood on Chicago’s Northwest Side.Ms. Coolidge rccieved her BA from University of Illinois, Urbana, on a General Assembly Scholarship. After graduating from the University of Illinois, Ms. Coolidge began her career in the finance industry working her way from an institutional bond salesperson at a local bank to Senior Vice President in the Public Finance Group at Lehman Brothers. During her 16-year career in public finance, Ms. Coolidge has served as lead banker on over $18 billion of tax-exempt securities. She has served as senior banker for such issuers as State of Illinois, State of Indiana, State of Michigan, Cook County, City of Chicago, City of Milwaukee, and the Chicago Housing Authority to name a few. In 1993, Ms. Coolidge was profiled in Crain’s Chicago Business for her work on numerous financing in the Chicago area. Ms. Coolidge has also appeared on various news programs, most notably the Financial News Network, to discuss trends in the public finance industry.Most recently, Ms. Coolidge served as the lead banker for Lehman Brothers on the ground breaking Chicago Housing Authority Capital Program Revenue Bonds, Series 2001. This transaction marked the first time that a local housing authority was able to sell highly rated, tax-exempt bonds, backed solely by the federal grants that the authority received from HUD. This financing set the framework for future financings of this nature and was awarded the inaugural Deal of the Year by the Bond Buyer in December 2002.Ms. Coolidge also serves on numerous charitable boards in Chicago. She currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Project Exploration, and Vice Chairman of the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. Ms. Coolidge also serves as a board member of Catholic Charities, Women in Public Finance, Chicago State University, Clarity Communications and the Chicago Summer Business Institute. |
