Ellen is an executive coach with The Leaders Edge. She has 20 years of experience providing executive strategy and leadership across a spectrum of top-ranked organizations and industries. Her industry experience has been far reaching: petrochemical, manufacturing, banking, consumer products, real estate, healthcare, fine fragrance and managed services. Some specific company and client experience includes Arkema, ARAMARK, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Rohm and Haas, Shire Pharmaceuticals, Symrise, Mobil Oil, Southcorp-USA, Campbell Soup, GlaxoSmithKline and Citizens Bank. She has also guided executives through turbulent organizational change acquisition, mergers, turnaround, start-ups and new market expansion and achievement of their personal career goals. She is featured in the book, Coaching Competencies and Corporate Leadership, by Dr. Tracey Weiss.Ellen’s most recent corporate experience was as Vice President, Human Resources, at ARAMARK, where she had accountability for the health care and refreshment services businesses, as well as training and organizational development across the businesses. Ellen’s last assignment was as part of a small team serving the CEO in managing the transition from a private to a publicly held company; she was responsible for planning and managing internal employee communications for this endeavor. Ellen has a bachelor of science in labor relations from Cornell University. She has been a Cornell Executive Team leader and has served on the Board of Directors at S.O.D.A.T., a South Jersey non-profit agency specializing in alcohol and drug rehabilitation. She is a member of the human resources committee of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Board of Directors.She has recently been chosen to moderate forums for issues of critical interest to the city of Philadelphia. These public non partisan forums sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania and well known foundations are commonly known as the Great Expectations mayoral election, waterfront, and school reform commission projects. |
