Elizabeth E. Bailey has served as a director of CSX since November 1989. Dr. Bailey is the John C. Hower Professor of Business and Public Policy at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a director of Altria Group, Inc. and the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association.
Dr. Bailey is Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee and is a member of the Audit and Executive Committees. The Board of Directors has determined that Dr. Bailey is "independent" within the meaning of the Company's director independence standards and the director independence standards of The New York Stock Exchange. |
