Ms. Paulsen is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Corporate & Business Group. Based in the firm’s Denver office, her practice concentrates on the areas of securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She represents private and public companies in all stages of business development. Ms. Paulsen’s recent transactions include a number of multimillion-dollar negotiations. She oversaw all legal issues related to the development and financing for a $1 billion liquefied natural gas facility on the Gulf Coast of Texas. She has represented investment funds in the acquisition and financing of large, full-service hotels throughout the United States. Ms. Paulsen has restructured and formed partnerships and limited liability companies as vehicles for business investments. She has provided general and ongoing counsel to business entities regarding all aspects of operation, including development of strategic partnerships and negotiating and drafting employment agreements for key personnel in complex incentive plans. Ms. Paulsen's recent work includes representing KSL Capital Partners in its acquisition and financing of The Marriott Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa and representing Vail Resorts in its acquisition of Heavenly Valley, the formation of RockResorts and the sale of Snake River Lodge & Spa. |
