Elizabeth A. Shonson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Honors from Syracuse University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2001. While at Syracuse, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 2005, Ms. Shonson earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. At the University of Florida, Ms. Shonson was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Law & Policy, a teaching assistant for legal research and writing and appellate advocacy as well as a member of Phi Delta Phi. Ms. Shonson also received Honors in her legal research and writing, appellate advocacy and trial practice courses. While attending law school, she was a summer associate with the firm.
Ms. Shonson's practice focuses on complex class actions, including securities, corporate governance, and consumer fraud litigation.
Ms. Shonson is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Florida, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Ms. Shonson is currently a member of the American Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
