Ms. Youchah is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Las Vegas office and a member of the Employment and Litigation groups. With a deep background in all federal and state laws pertaining to employment, Ms. Youchah brings particular experience to bear on matters arising under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, COBRA and state law wrongful termination matters. She advises clients on employee discipline, termination matters and contract interpretation. She provides counsel and drafting services relating to non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, as well as consulting agreements and employment and severance contracts. She has worked as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association Labor and Employment Panel, and she has provided labor law services to the National Labor Board. In addition, Ms. Youchah brings significant experience to the preparation and revision of employee handbooks and other employment policies. In the litigation arena, Ms. Youchah has represented clients on numerous occasions before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has litigated non-compete and non-solicitation enforcement matters, and she is experienced in issues relating to Teamsters, telecommunications companies, aerospace companies and gaming companies, among others. Prior to joining Brownstein, Ms. Youchah was a law clerk to Honorable Magistrate Judge Lawrence R. Leavitt of U.S. District Court, District of Nevada. |
