Elaine Nailler APRN, BC is a board certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with over 25 years experience as an executive, educator, and practitioner in mental health settings. Most recently, Ms. Nailler was in private practice providing outpatient psychiatric care to adult patients. Her direct clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy services. She began the first independent nursing practice in Michigan and has held several senior management positions in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings. Ms. Nailler has a long history of academic involvement, both in administration and teaching. She established the first practice plan for advanced practice nursing faculty at West Virginia University. She also has been an adjunct or visiting professor at four institutions of higher education across the country. Moreover, Ms. Nailler has administered research grants and published articles on nursing practice and behavioral health issues. Ms. Nailler has spoken widely at several national and regional conferences. She is a recipient of several awards and commendations, including the Pfizer/APNSCAN National Award for Exceptional Contributions to HealthCare. |
