Elaine Coughlan has 13 years of operational experience in technology companies from early stage of development through exit. She has extensive M&A and exit experience, having been involved in three successful technology IPOs and secondary offerings raising more than $1.6 billion in capital for companies, investors and multiple corporate M&A transactions. She served as the CFO of semiconductor company Parthus Technologies plc, which was listed on the NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange. She joined Parthus Technologies in 1999 and played a central role in organizing a successful IPO of the company in May 2000. In 2002, upon completion of the $500 million merger of Parthus and Israeli-based CEVA Inc., she became CFO of the newly formed company with responsibility for the finance, treasury, legal and investor relations. Before Parthus and CEVA, Elaine worked for IONA Technologies plc, where she oversaw its IPO on NASDAQ in 1997 and held senior financial positions including corporate controller, vice president of finance and assistant corporate controller. She was based in California from 1994 to 1996 with CBT Systems plc, where she co-led its IPO and secondary offering on NASDAQ. She spent eight years at Ernst & Young as a senior audit manager specializing in advising SEC registered clients in the technology sector and handling IPO transactions. She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Elaine also is the CFO of the Atlantic Bridge Ventures Fund, is an observer on the board of Firecomms and a director on the board of ABVEN Holdings, ABVEN GP and ABVEN Services Limited. |
