Background/Education
Ms. Parson was born in Detroit, Michigan. She received her B.A. (cum laude) in English from Wayne State University in 1973 (where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa) and her J.D. from the Wayne State University School of Law in 1981, where she served on the Wayne Law Review.
Expertise
Ms. Parson has extensive experience with defense of insurance companies in life, disability and accidental death litigation, as well as general and complex commercial litigation including UCC and other contract disputes, software litigation, commercial fraud and business tort litigation, and discrimination actions.

Ms. Parson's bar affiliations include the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. She also is a member of the Business Litigation Committee, Defense Research Institute; Civil Litigation Section, Evidence Committee, American Bar Association; and Civil Litigation and Appellate Sections, State Bar of Michigan.
