Ms. Chauvet's practice focuses on real estate transactions, including the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of commercial properties. Ms. Chauvet's experience includes the representation of clients in acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of office, retail and industrial property. Ms. Chauvet has also represented private equity investors in joint venture development projects and major financial institutions in permanent and construction loans and bond financings. Professional Activities - Ms. Chauvet is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco. Prior to law school Ms. Chauvet worked for a private resort and residential real estate development in New Mexico, managing its real estate portfolio, revenues and development projects. Education - Ms. Chauvet received a B.A. in Speech Communications from Oregon State University in 1992. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2003 where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Thurston Society and served as editor-in-chief of the Hastings Law Journal. |
