Ed and his partner milk 180 cows and farm 600 acres on a third-generation farm. He is the vice chairman of the Northeast Area Council and on the DFA Compensation and Government, Member and Public Relations committees. He also serves as DFA’s representative on three National Milk committees: Foreign Trade, Environmental and Scholarship. Ed is the New York Milk Promotion Board vice chairman, and is on the subcommittees for Food Science and Economic Evaluation. He is a member of the Northeast Cooperative Council and formerly served as its president. He also in on Senator Hillary Clinton’s Ag Advisory Board; the Schoen, Stewart, Young Pricing Committee; and he’s a delegate to the North American/European Union Conference. He formerly was vice chairman of Eastern Milk Producers; secretary of Milk Marketing, Inc.; and a member of the Cornell Food Institute. |
