Eddie Albertian is the President of TNT Vacations as well as Chief Operating Officer of the holding company: Transnational Group in Boston. In this role, Eddie is responsible for all Boston operating companies, including TNTVacations.com, TNCI Communications, Belkin Lookout Farm in Natick, Massachusetts and others. Eddie joined Trans National from C&S Wholesale Grocers of Brattleboro, VT, the number two food wholesaler in the US, where he was the President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining C&S, Eddie was the President and Chief Executive Officer of streamline. com, an Internet based ordering and home delivery service; co-owner, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Star Market Corporation, a major New England grocery chain now known as Shaw's. Eddie is one of the early pioneers at Staples, Inc. and helped manage this nationally recognized retailer during a period of extraordinary growth. An Executive-in-Residence at the University of Massachusetts, Eddie has worked with faculty, staff and students on projects and curriculum related initiatives in the areas of strategy, leadership, operations and marketing management, and information systems. He has been a guest speaker at UMass, Northeastern and Harvard. He has served as a member of the College of Management's Advisory Board since 1999. |
