Edward Kayukov is an international project finance partner in the Global Project Finance Group of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and is based in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Mr. Kayukov has extensive experience in infrastructure and energy project financings, representing both lenders and developers in the United States and internationally. Mr. Kayukov participated in negotiating and drafting of the credit documentation for the Barracuda and Caratinga Oil Fields project financing, a $2.5 Billion offshore oil project in Brazil, one of the largest project financings in Latin America. Edward also represented sponsors and developers in a number of power projects in Brazil and Mexico. In addition, Mr. Kayukov has represented several financial institutions and sponsors in various syndicated financings as well as in the financing and development of a wide range of power projects in the United States.
Over the past six years, Edward has represented various developers and financial institutions involved in the development and financing of a number of wind energy projects in California, Oregon, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Iowa, Illinois Pennsylvania and Texas. The wind energy projects in which Mr. Kayukov has been involved represent approximately 2000 MW of installed capacity or capacity currently under development. Most recently, Mr. Kayukov represented lenders in the Buffalo Gap 2 construction financing, Blue Canyon 2/Maple Ridge portfolio financing (consisting of projects in New York and Oklahoma), Top Deer portfolio financing (consisting of projects in Iowa and Texas), and the Sweetwater 4 project financing.
