Edward T. Gwilt, senior vice president, is Comerica's chief loan review officer. He also is a member of the Corporation's Management Council.
As officer-in-charge of Asset Quality Review, Mr. Gwilt is responsible for the independent evaluation of asset quality and administration in all lending areas. He works closely with the Auditing Department in facilitating a strong relationship with the Audit & Legal Committee of the Comerica Incorporated board.
Mr. Gwilt joined Comerica in 1977. He has held a number of management positions, including service as a credit analyst, commercial lending officer, corporate credit administration officer and divisional credit administration officer. He was named to his current position in February 2003.
Mr. Gwilt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Hillsdale College in 1976.
Among his professional and community affiliations, Mr. Gwilt is a member of the Robert Morris Associates, a member of the board of trustees of Walsh College, and on the alumni boards of Alpha Tau Omega and Hillsdale College. |
