In 1990, Ed joined A-L Associates, Inc., responsible for building the firm’s investment banking and capital markets practice. Ed’s international background and Japanese language skills expanded the group’s reach into Tokyo and other Asian Centers and began the globalization of A L’s business. In 1993, Ed was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the firm, and he is still extremely active in client management. Mr. Orchant joined the executive search community in 1985 with E.J. Lance in New York. From 1985-1990, Ed developed and managed the firm’s investment banking group. The group’s primary client relationship was Kidder, Peabody and Co., Inc., for which searches were executed across numerous product and geographic disciplines. |
