Mr. Barad is a Shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and a co-chairman of the firm’s Real Estate Group. Based in the firm’s Denver office, Mr. Barad represents national and local developers in real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, corporate restructuring and financing. Mr. Barad is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and served on its Board of Governors. Additionally, he wrote the original rules of the Colorado Bar Ethics Committee and was the chairman and principal draftsman for the committee that published the Colorado Standards for Mortgage Loan Opinion Letters. He brings more than 30 years of substantive experience in real estate law and has worked on some of the biggest development deals in the Western United States. A frequent lecturer, he has presented to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, PLI and the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar. |
