Edward M. Liddy, chairman, president and chief executive officer of The Allstate Corp., the parent of Allstate Insurance Co., a personal lines insurance company, since 1999.
He served as president and chief operating officer of the Allstate Corp. from 1994 to 1998. Before joining Allstate, Liddy was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Sears, Roebuck and Co., where he held a variety of senior operating and financial positions since 1988. Liddy is on the board of the following public company in addition to 3M and the Allstate Corp.: Goldman Sachs Group Inc. He also is affiliated with certain nonprofit organizations, including director of Catalyst, chairman of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, and chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. |
