Biography
Edward L. Reis, CPA is a partner in the Robinson, Illinois location of Kemper CPA Group LLP. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Mr. Reis has been with Kemper CPA Group LLP since 1967, and became partner-in-charge of the Robinson office on May 1, 1991, a position he held until May, 2007.
Mr. Reis specializes in grain-dealer auditing and assists with concurring reviews performed in other offices. His responsibilities also include commercial auditing of bank and bank trust departments, as well as preparation of all income tax returns and small business consulting. He has accumulated experience and knowledge of effective business management techniques in his broad range of small and medium business clients. Mr. Reis has provided governmental audit services to the Robinson and Palestine, Illinois Community School Districts, as well as numerous villages, townships and special districts. He has also completed non-profit audits for the Crawford Memorial Hospital Foundation, as well as the Lawrence/Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens.
Mr. Reis received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Indiana State University in 1981, and his CPA certificate from the State of Illinois in 1984.
