Edward J. Gloviak is the vice president of Special Programs and Services for L-3 Communications Integrated Systems (L-3/IS). He was appointed to his current position in January 2003. In this capacity he is leading the launch of a major business area. He also has responsibility for programs and pursuits with the U.S. Navy, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, and other proprietary programs. Prior to his current position, Gloviak was the vice president of Aircraft Modernization and Maintenance Programs. This included all commercial programs, SOFIA programs and P-3 programs, Maritime Patrol Aircraft and E-6B programs at the Greenville and Waco, Texas facilities. Gloviak served as the vice president of the Joint Operations Group for the Intelligence, Information and Aircraft Integration Systems segment of the Raytheon Company from 1998 until 2000. A native of St. Clair Shores, Mich., Gloviak received his bachelor of arts degree in business from Michigan State University in 1979. In 1983, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University where he graduated magna cum laude. Gloviak is a member of the National Contracts Management Association; Army Aviation Association of America; and Air Force Association. He has received the coveted AMC DEH Contractor of the Year Award, as well as the Department of the Army RPMA Contractor of the Year Award in 1988. |
