Edward "Ted" B. Tuerk is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. Ted is a member of the Firm's Corporate Department, where his practice focuses on corporate finance transactions.
Ted's transactional experience includes the documentation, negotiation and execution of real estate based financing transactions, acquisition financings, secured and unsecured private placement debt financings, secured and unsecured asset based and cash flow credit facilities (including syndicated facilities and multicurrency facilities), senior subordinated debt and mezzanine financings, first and second lien financings, equipment lease financings, healthcare receivable financings, cross-border financings involving foreign issuers and lenders, and workouts and restructurings of distressed credits. He has represented private and public corporations, financial institutions, insurance companies and private equity funds in a wide variety of finance and general corporate matters.
While attending DePaul University College of Law, Ted served on the DePaul Business Law Journal.
Ted is a fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel where he serves on the Communications Committee. He is also a member of the DePaul University College of Law Alumni Board.
Ted is admitted to practice in Illinois.
