Edward (Ted) Chastain has practiced for more than 10 years, concentrating in
corporate and securities law. As an associate at Chadbourne & Parke in New York and
Moscow from 1993 to 1996, he gained experience in various aspects of corporate and
securities law, including initial public offerings, Securities Exchange Act compliance,
mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Chastain has extensive recent
experience in corporate governance and compliance and disclosure work, and recently
has specialized in representing public companies.
Mr. Chastain is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law (1993) and the
University of Alabama (1988). He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs
from Columbia University and studied at Leningrad State University in 1990 and 1991.
Mr. Chastain is fluent in Russian and has worked as a freelance legal translator.
