Eduardo Guzmán is an associate in the firm's Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group and a member of the Telecommunications and Mass Media Team. His practice is concentrated on telecommunications matters and general litigation.
Eduardo is a 2002 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a member of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. He received his bachelor's degree in 1999 from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, where he also completed a Certificate in Latin American Studies. He is the author of Igartúa de la Rosa v. United States: The Right of the United States Citizens of Puerto Rico to Vote for the President and the Need to Re-evaluate America’s Territorial Policy (Comment) 4 U. Pa. J. Const. L. 141 (2001).
Bar Admissions. Eduardo is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York, and the state and federal courts in Puerto Rico.
In General. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, Eduardo was an associate at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington, D.C., where he worked in international arbitration and general litigation matters. He served as law clerk for the Honorable Juan M. Pérez-Giménez of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico from 2002 to 2003. Eduardo is a native speaker of Spanish. |
