Experience:
Edmund Parker is head of the London office's Derivatives practice. He has extensive experience acting for arrangers and other parties in a wide variety of structured securities transactions, including CFOs (collateralised fund obligations), cash and synthetic CDOs, credit CPPI (constant proportion portfolio insurance), the establishment of CDPCs (Credit Derivative Product Companies); and structured equity products.
Edmund Parker's practice also focuses on advising on complex OTC credit and equity derivatives, property derivatives, commodity derivatives (including emissions trading), and insurance and pensions-linked derivatives. He also advises on repackagings and OTC and exotic derivatives generally.
Edmund Parker has written extensively on derivatives and related matters, including recently publishing as sole author "Credit Derivatives: Documenting and Understanding Credit Derivative Products" (see "Publications"). He is fluent in Spanish and also speaks French.
