Mr. Kennedy’s practice focuses on trial and appellate litigation. Mr. Kennedy’s practice includes civil rights, constitutional law, employment discrimination, administrative law and other civil and commercial litigation. Mr. Kennedy represents a variety of public entities, private businesses, corporations and insurers in litigation matters both before the trial courts and on appeal. Mr. Kennedy’s practice also includes work in estate planning, including issues related to taxation, drafting of wills and trusts, and powers of attorney. Mr. Kennedy joined Hall & Evans, L.L.C. after serving a year as a law clerk to Judge Rudy S. Apodaca of the New Mexico Court of Appeals and a year as a law clerk to Judge Raymond D. Jones of the Colorado Court of Appeals. Mr. Kennedy was admitted to practice in Colorado in 1999 and New Mexico in 2000. He received his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1998, and he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado State University in 1987. He has an LL.M. in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School, 1999, concentrating in Estate and Personal Financial Planning. Mr. Kennedy is a member of the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and New Mexico Bar Association. |
