Mr. Jack has worked along with Mr. Lucca in the wine industry since 1977. Prior to forming the SLJ Group, Inc., he worked in sales and marketing for a large German direct-sales wine company, rising quickly to the position of Promotion Director. In this executive position he was responsible for planning and developing the product programs for four separate wine divisions. He also designed and implemented a national training program for wine sales and product education. At Lionstone Mr. Jack is responsible for sampling and purchasing the wines used by the various programs as well as educational programs for the company's wholesale and retail customers. Annually he travels to Europe and within the U.S., tasting thousands of wines to select the three to four hundred that qualify for Lionstone's use. |
