Ed Horley, Senior Network Engineer/ Data Center Architect. Ed brings a true engineering perspective to our customers as well as vision and design archtecture. Ed graduated from the University of the Pacific with a degree in Civil Engineering. He spent the first part of his working career working for Kleinfelder providing planning, engineering, scientific, technical and management solutions to customers across the west. Being involved in communications technology since a youngster with his father, he migrated into a full time professional technical network engineering role. At TimeShift he was lead Network Engineer. TimeShift was eventually acquired by J2 Global which is the parent company of EFAX.com. Ed was a member of the 3 person Network Engineering team at J2 that managed all of their global locations. He is a Cisco Expert with several certifications, a Microsoft MVP in Networking, Leader of the Tri-Valley Network Users Group (www.pacitpros.com). Most recently Ed became a Cisco Technology Solution Specialist in Security. This designation provides him with insider access to the latest Cisco Security Solutions and traning. Ed enjoys his spare time spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is a referee for Womens LaCrosse, an avid reader and truly dislikes cold weather. |
