Consulting with CEOs and top executives of organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, he has facilitated the creation of strategic plans, vision and mission statements, and organizational re-engineering plans to achieve specific goals. Providing new thinking models and coaching to executive teams, he has assisted corporations in returning the company to leadership in creativity and innovation in order to capture markets, in focusing resources toward targeted goals, in designing matrix-based operations to improve productivity, and in instituting cultural change. His documented successes include doubling sales, order of magnitude profit increases, and cost reductions.
Ed is a leading-edge thinker in the area of leadership, management, and organizational design. The author of two books, The Molecular Basis of Memory and the forthcoming Growing Up: It's Not Just for Kids Anymore and numerous articles on clinical psychology, organizational psychology, and management, he has specialized for the past 15 years in leadership development, strategy consulting, and executive mentoring and coaching. He has been a coach and mentor to CEOs and upper-level executives of Fortune 500 firms as well as small businesses and startup companies.
Ed Gurowitz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and a doctorate in psychology from the University of Rochester. He also holds the Certified Professional Consultant to Management (CPCM) certification from the National Bureau of Certified Consultants. He is on the Boards of several companies and also of a number of non-profit organizations. |
