Dulcey Lima, C.O. OTR/L received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Illinois. She attended Northwestern University Prosthetic/Orthotic Center and became certified in orthotics. She has lectured throughout the United States and Europe and has published several professional articles including:Overview of the Causes, Treatment, and Orthotic Management of Lower Limb Spasticity, Team Management of Hip Revision Patients Using a Post-Op Hip Orthosis, and Helping Hips Hold Up. Ms. Lima is a lecturer at several universities including Northwestern University’s Orthotic Program, and has conducted numerous seminars on TC2 Total Contact, Total Control Orthotic Management System. She is presently working with Orthomerica’s Research and Development Team to develop new products, and updating the clinical information for the STARband cranial remolding orthosis. Before joining Orthomerica she worked for thirteen years as a certified orthotist in the Chicago area, and is currently a Clinical Education Manager with Orthomerica Products, Inc. |
