Duke Dickson joined OAO Technology Solutions, Inc. (OAOT) in July 2007 as President of the Strategic Business Solutions (SBS) business unit. He is responsible for applications development and maintenance sales, marketing and the operations for SBS centers in Canada and India.
Duke began his career in the Bell System where he held various positions in applications and systems development, sales and marketing and was one of the initial management team members of the divested American Bell. Since then, he has held positions as Group Director - National Accounts at Sprint, Vice President and General Manager for the Americas at Equant, Chief Operating Officer at Orion Systems, Vice President and General Manager of the Communications and Media Division at Perot Systems, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and operations.
Immediately before coming to OAOT, Duke was Executive Director - Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services at Unisys Corporation, where he led sales activities on mega-deal opportunities focused on data center, desktop support and helpdesk solutions.
Duke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and graduated cum laude from Carson Newman College. He also holds numerous training certifications including Business Process Re-engineering, Program and Project Management; he also completed study at MIT in the field of Telecommunications. |
