As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Hostetter has responsibility for corporate accounting and reporting, bank accounting and reporting, corporate finance, corporate treasury and investments, as well as investor relations.
He joined Susquehanna in 1995 and was named Assistant Treasurer. In 1998, he assumed the position of Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer and, in 2001, was promoted to Executive Vice President, Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Hostetter began his financial career in 1976 with Price Waterhouse. Later he held accounting positions with Equitable Bancorporation and eventually became Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller of MNC Financial, Equitable’s successor. He came to Susquehanna after the purchase of MNC by NationsBank.
A summa cum laude graduate of Bloomsburg University, Mr. Hostetter holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. While at Bloomsburg, he received the Robert Redman Award for most outstanding athlete. He serves as financial secretary for Elizabethtown Grace Brethren Church and is a member of the board of directors of Grace House, a non-profit organization located in Harrisburg, Pa. |
