Recovery of $5 million in damages for breach of energy supply agreement
Appointed as Special Litigation Counsel for the estate of National Century Financial Enterprises, Inc., in connection with the collapse of NCFE’s $3 billion bond issuance
Successful prosecution of fraud and contract claims against California-based health care provider on behalf of a specialty financier
Successful prosecution of individual officer of Texas-based company on behalf of specialty financier
Successful prosecution of contract and tort claims against Illinois-based fiduciary trust institution
Successful defense of leading trust institution in connection with the administration of a spendthrift trust
Successful defense of fraud and RICO claims asserted against lender and lender’s officers in $30 million multi-state lender liability litigation involving the collapse of nursing homes in thirteen states
Successful defense of national insurance company in connection with insurance product used to fund a defined benefits plan
Successful defense of consumer class action claims asserted against a regional energy cooperative in connection with local delivery agreements
