Douglas Swain is Regional Director for First Industrial Realty Trust’s Indianapolis region. He is responsible for operations, management, investment, sales and development activity. Mr. Swain has been with First Industrial since 1998, and has been involved in numerous lease and investment transactions valued over $100 million dollars. Prior to his position in Indianapolis, he was Marketing & Leasing Director for First Industrial’s Cincinnati region, working on projects in Cincinnati and Dayton. Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Swain worked as a Leasing Manager with Heitman Properties, an institutional advisor, where he began his real estate career in 1991.
Mr. Swain is a 1989 graduate of Ohio State University, where he majored in Finance. Mr. Swain holds an Ohio real estate broker’s license and is an active member of the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Warehousing Education & Research Council (WERC). |
