Douglas Sheeran held a number of Human Resource positions of increasing scope and responsibility with Phoenix Life Insurance, Kraft Foods, Electronic Associations Inc., and Celanese Corporation. These positions encompassed labor relations, management and organizational development as well as compensation and benefits responsibilities at both operating company and headquarters assignments.
Doug later joined Purolator Automotive Group as Vice President, Human Resources with responsibility for multiple North American business units. During this period, the firm implemented substantial operational and information technology improvement programs.
In 1986, he founded FCI, Inc., a Human Resource consulting firm specializing in executive staffing, change management, and organizational effectiveness. FCI's client base includes Fortune 500 companies and developing firms in financial services, technology, life sciences and the consumer durable and packaged goods industries.
Doug serves on the Board of Directors of Rentech Inc., an American Stock Exchange listed company. This multi-unit energy technology company is headquartered in Denver, CO. He is Chairman of the Compensation Committee and serves on the Governance & Nominating Committee.
Doug received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and completed graduate business course work at George Washington University. |
