Douglas Scheving graduated with Diplomas of Technology in Mining and Extractive Metallurgy from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1972 and has 20 years experience as a mill superintendent and 10 years experience in the administration of public mining exploration companies. He has worked for Falconbridge at their Wesfrob iron copper mine and also at their Salmita Gold Mine in the Northwest Territories. He has also worked as mill superintendent at Mosquito Creek Gold Mines and the Sumac Ventures heap leach gold operation. Mr. Scheving was contractor and General Manager for the British Columbia Ministry of Environment for three years at a cyanide remediation and detoxification project near Grand Forks B.C. In 1993 Mr. Scheving became involved with public mining exploration companies and has provided administration services to Exeter Resource Corporation (then Golden Glacier Resources Inc.) and Golden Dynasty Resources Limited starting in 1996. |
