Douglas Meador, president and founder of Island Micro Solutions presently leads the management team towards the firm’s vision of exceeding clients’ expectations and providing tools to better direct their businesses. His extensive experience in analyzing business processes has made him an expert in translating requirements into technical solutions. For many years, he has provided guidance on delivering client solutions involving complex business systems.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii College of Business, Doug majored in financial and managerial accounting with a supplemental emphasis in computers and finance.
Before founding Island Micro Solutions, Doug was the controller for a Honolulu financial institution where he computerized and supervised the accounting department. Doug also served as the MIS Director for a mainland financial institution, supervising all computer operations and implementing a statewide check processing system. |
