Douglas Hopek is a vice president in the technology investment banking practice. Prior to joining First Analysis in 2000, he was with Tucker Anthony Cleary Gull’s investment banking group in Chicago. Earlier, he was a vice president in the telecommunications investment banking group at EVEREN Securities in Chicago. Prior to EVEREN, he was in the technology/telecommunications investment banking group at Morgan Keegan & Co. in Memphis. He has also been associated with the investment banking groups at McDonald & Co. Securities and Craigie Inc. He earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and taxation from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in finance and political science with a minor in economics from Alma College. He has published in Taxation for Accountants and Taxation for Lawyers and has been a speaker at technology industry conferences. |
