Mr. Hammond joined NFP in November 1999 and has served as NFP's Executive Vice President and General Counsel since January 2004 and served as NFP's Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel from December 2002 to January 2004. Prior to joining NFP, Mr. Hammond was associated with the law firm LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP, where he specialized in corporate insurance and regulatory matters, for the period from March 1998 to November 1999. From 1995 to March 1998, Mr. Hammond held various legal and business positions in the financial institutions division of Gulf Insurance Group, Inc., a specialty lines insurance company formerly headquartered in New York City. Mr. Hammond received his B.A. from Fairfield University and J.D. from St. John's University School of Law. Mr. Hammond has over 14 years of industry experience.
