Mr. Jackson joined Lifetree Clinical Research® in May, 2006 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jackson holds a BA degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Brigham Young University where he graduated second in his class.Mr. Jackson brings to Lifetree a wealth of executive leadership and financial management experience having held key management positions in small and startup companies as well as several Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Jackson has an exceptional record of building and leading management teams that consistently exceed productivity, quality, revenue and profitability goals.Several years ago he moved to Utah from New York after the company he led for a Swiss parent corporation was sold. He was recruited as President of Spectron Systems Technologies, Inc. to lead the turnaround of this firm that had been consistently unprofitable. He was responsible for the resulting major growth in this firm’s revenues and its return to high profitability. In addition, with Mr. Jackson’s help it was sold for many multiples of what the Swiss parent acquired it for prior to retaining Mr. Jackson’s services. The firm’s product line was expanded into a variety of high quality products that are now used in many military, commercial and industrial applications. Mr. Jackson was also a member of the Executive Committee of the New York Chapter of the American Electronics Association. Prior to that time Mr. Jackson served as President of Seaboard Industries, Inc. This firm was listed by Inc. Magazine as one of the top 50 fastest growing private companies in the U.S. for two years in a row. Under Mr. Jackson’s leadership, and as a direct result of Mr. Jackson’s efforts, this firm reached a historically high level of revenues and profitability.Since moving to Utah and prior to joining Lifetree Mr. Jackson successfully consulted with a variety of clients. Among his efforts was the establishment of a language translation services firm for government and military classified documents which won contracts from prestigious clients such as Lockheed Martin. Another was the successful turnaround of a high technology manufacturing company.Throughout his career, and in addition to his overall interests and skills in general management, Mr. Jackson’s primary focus and core competency has always been in the discipline of financial management.
