Douglas Burdett joined our predecessor in April 2002 as SVP and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Servicing Manager and Site Manager of our Fort Worth facility. Loan servicing activities are provided for Origen owned loans as well as client assets comprised of manufactured housing, home improvement and first mortgage products nationwide. Mr. Burdett leads all aspects of Origen's loan servicing, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, remarketing, collections, titling, insurance, tax, customer service, QC and loss mitigation.
Mr. Burdett has more than 30 years of experience in the residential and commercial mortgage and manufactured housing industries. Prior to joining Origen, Mr. Burdett was with GE Capital for 25 years where he gained broad based experience including VP Default Services in GE Mortgage and SVP in GE Asset Management. He was recruited by First Union to develop an enterprise solution for Foreclosure and REO issues following acquisition of The Money Store. Was later called by The Associates to fill officer level positions first as National Asset Manager and later Servicing Operations Manager. |
