Douglas C. Murray is an associate who handles a wide range of matters, including securities, mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate governance and general corporate matters for public and private companies. He also represents clients in connection with securities compliance matters and represents institutional investors in connection with their purchases of privately placed debt securities.
Prior to entering law school, Douglas was a senior associate with Deloitte & Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP, Human Capital Services, where he designed and implemented executive compensation programs and international equity-based compensation plans. He also designed and evaluated compensation programs for companies in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
In General. Douglas received is J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2005 and his bachelor's degree in economics from Northwestern University in 1997.
Douglas is a former professional baseball player for minor league teams in the Houston Astros and the Kansas City Royals organizations. He is a guitarist and volunteer baseball camp instructor, and is proficient in Spanish. |
