Doug Mikeworth joined LOPEZGARCIA GROUP in 1994 and currently serves as the Fort Worth Office Manager, leading the effort of the Fort Worth-based municipal/private development division. Doug's experience across multiple market sectors enables him to effectively manage a variety of efforts. Most recently, Doug led the design team for Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) Northwest Corridor Light Rail Transit Line Section 1B. This multi-million dollar, multi-component project features two park-and-ride stations with capacity for more than 600 vehicles, an 8,000 foot long aerial guideway structure and multiple light rail aerial stations. He has designed and reviewed plans for a variety of municipal water distribution and wastewater collection and stormwater collection systems. Doug has performed drainage analysis, hydraulic modeling and led the design of stormwater collection systems for numerous urban freeway projects for TxDOT, and he has provided quality assurance and control for water resource and dam projects for the USACE.Doug received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and leads LOPEZGARCIA GROUP's annual Engineering Week celebration. |
