Current responsibility
Doug is a principal and consulting actuary with the Portland, Oregon, office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1980.
Experience
Doug's area of expertise is retirement programs, including defined benefit, defined contribution, retiree medical, 401(k), and nonqualified plans. He assists multiemployer, corporate, and association clients in the areas of plan design, experience studies, and actuarial valuations.
Affiliations
Doug served as chairman for the Enrolled Actuaries Joint Program committee.
He is a past board member of the Portland Chapter of the Western Pension Conference.
Doug taught several courses for actuaries preparing to take enrollment examinations.
