Douglas C. DeVries is Senior Vice President, Agricultural Marketing North America, Australia and Asia. He has held this position since January 2000. In his position, DeVries is responsible for leading the sales and marketing activities of Deere's Agricultural Equipment Division, including the management of the John Deere dealer organization.
DeVries joined the company in 1974 and has held a variety of positions in marketing, credit, and sales throughout the company. In 1998, he was appointed Vice President, Sales Branches for Deere's North American Agricultural Marketing Operations.
A native of South Dakota, DeVries is a 1973 graduate of Dartmouth College. He is the 2006 chair of the National FFA Foundation Sponsor's Board. Devries is also a member of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' Ag Committee.
