On March 5, 2007, Gov. Edward G. Rendell announced Doug Rohanna as his new Director of Communications. Rohanna oversees communications planning in the executive branch, including management of the Governor’s Communications Office and the executive branch agencies’ press offices.
Rohanna most recently was vice president of the Bravo Group, a Harrisburg-based communications and lobbying firm. He previously served as chief of staff to state House Majority Leader Bill DeWeese.
A native of Waynesburg, Greene County, Rohanna earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Waynesburg College. Rohanna and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Katherine and Aubrey. They live in East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County. |
