Doug began his career at Xerox Corporation working in field operations, product marketing, marketing systems, and market research. Since leaving Xerox, Doug has held several executive positions leading organizations that advise and service major corporations; both domestically and internationally. His broad base of experience includes designing, managing, and growing organizations that provide call center, technology services, market research, fulfillment, and strategic consulting. Doug has managed organizations ranging from a few high competency professionals to several hundred individuals in a production environment. He has proven success in growing organizations. In two separate organizations he more than doubled revenues in less than twenty-four months.
In his career he has worked with a diverse set of companies ranging from fortune 50 to emerging entrepreneurial companies; from service companies to equipment manufacturers; from US based organizations to companies based in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Doug's career has required him to play a variety of roles including customer, supplier, partner, consultant, advisor... you name it. Examples of corporations that Doug has worked with include IBM, BP Oil, Texas Instruments, Ericsson, Epson, Adobe, Armstrong Industries, GE Capital, and many more. In his career Doug has had the opportunity to travel internationally and work with a variety of cultures around the world.
In addition to his current work, he is also a Chairman for TEC, The Executive Committee (www.teconline.com). In this role, Doug facilitates a think tank of CEOs, business owners, and presidents helping them increase their effectiveness and enhance their lives. He also works with these business leaders in highly charged one-on-one sessions helping them drive the results important to them and their businesses. Doug is also a Certified Fierce Conversations Facilitator (www.fierceinc.com). In addition to his diverse business experience, Doug is recognized as an engaging speaker with strong team building and facilitation skills. He can be found speaking on a variety of leadership, management and marketing topics; leading strategic retreats for executives; and facilitating leadership development within organizations.
Doug has a bachelor's degree with honors in Management Science and has completed graduate studies in Psychology, Statistics, and Quality Management. He has completed extensive training in the areas of Leadership, Negotiation, Business Management, Financial Management, and Facilitation. |
