Doug Gastich heads up FableVision's Portland, Oregon office and focuses on developing media-rich, community-enabled applications and games for the Web and the desktop. He brings to FableVision deep experience with product management and multimedia production, having managed the development of Marqui, Inc's blog-publishing software, as well as FableVision's own Stationery Studio. In step with the growth of the Internet itself, Doug has worked as architect and technical producer of quality applications, Web sites, CD-ROMs, museum kiosks and even PDA-based WiFi media applications. Doug has completed successful projects across many industries, with a focus on children's education, corporate learning and development, and high-tech marketing. Doug has worked with many leaders in these industries, from Fortune 500 companies such as Staples, Starwood Hotels and Cisco Systems, to PBS, Knowledge Adventure, Scholastic and Learning.com. When he does manage to step away from his laptop, you can find Doug snowboarding, riding his motorcycle on the back roads of Oregon, catching a new band in town, or renovating the house with his wife Kari. |
