Doug Ehrenkranz has joined Allen Austin as a Senior Partner in the Consumer Goods, Retail, and Agribusiness practice. Most recently, Doug was Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at New World Pasta Company, the largest retail branded pasta manufacturer in the U.S., and Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing at Imperial Sugar Company, one of the largest refiners of sugar in the country. His functional expertise includes sales, marketing, retail operations, and agribusiness with balanced proficiency in consumer packaged goods (branded and private label), foodservice, and industrial ingredients (business to business). He has had experience with operations in both the U.S. and Canada. Doug brings to his search practice over two and a half decades of broad based experience and knowledge, fresh industry contacts and perspective, and sensitivity to the needs of both clients and candidates.
Doug spent over twenty-six years with Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo (Taco Bell), Imperial Sugar Company (including responsibility for foodservice subsidiary Diamond Crystal Brands) and New World Pasta (formerly Hershey Pasta Group). He also spent two years as a consultant with engagements in rice and meat/deli products. Doug has had significant experience at both larger public companies and smaller companies held by private equity firms.
At Procter & Gamble, where Doug spent over fourteen years, he had increasing levels of sales management responsibility in soap and detergents, health and beauty aids, and food/beverage.
Doug earned a BA from The University of Arizona, where he was Student Body President. He has served on several University alumni boards and serves on the local Board of Directors for Child Advocates. He also is active with Gerson Lehrman Food and Beverage Consultancy Council. |
