Donna Goldsmith, Executive Vice President of Consumer Products, joined World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., in July 2000. Goldsmith oversees WWE's global Merchandise, Licensing, Book Publishing, and DVD businesses. Her specific responsibilities include product development for licensed and in-house merchandise, retail sales distribution, retail promotion and operations, with a focus on improving efficiencies in getting the company’s merchandise, DVD’s and licensed products, including apparel, action figures, books, and video games to market. She is also responsible for the operations of WWE Shop.com, the company’s e-commerce website.
Prior to joining WWE, Goldsmith worked for the National Basketball Association (NBA) where she managed Global Licensing. Goldsmith developed and implemented business strategies including identification of new licensees/products, global trends, distribution, marketing and promotional programs.
Prior to the NBA, Goldsmith worked for Swatch Watch U.S.A., Inc. and Revlon, Inc. generating promotional concepts, managing inventory and developing marketing plans.
A resident of Manhattan, Goldsmith graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Communications. |
